Problem

The business relied on conventional load boards to book freight for a long time, which often added hours of manual labour to its sales process.
Operations would often have to pause talks with a customer to request quotes from several carriers around the world. These quotes would take hours to get in, delaying the time when Operations with the all-in delivered price could reach the customer back out.Besides the many hours that the expo trans team wasted on the booking process, they didn't feel like their time and money was going to a service they trusted in finding the best rates and trackable service for their lanes. Freight shipping prices were often exorbitant, particularly during high-volume markets. To get more visibility of the system, the company needed to streamline its booking process and find new in house product.
